Tech is Great, But...

The other day I was trying to explain to a friend how to install an app on her iPhone so she could listen to podcasts from our church. Finally, one of the frustrated tech-savvy girls in our group grabbed the phone and was just gonna do it for her.
After going through all the process, the app wouldn't load because she needed an update. Simple, just go to SETTINGS and update; right? Wrong!
After enabling the update and a period of waiting, an error message came back that her iPhone was too old a version to allow the update.
Therefore, no app, no podcasts. Isn't that just the way it is in the tech world?!!
How great it is when everything works well. But when it doesn't, it can be such an aggravation.
The dominoes begin to fall, and the dollar signs start popping up. How aggravating when you're trying to do everything right with your meds. You go to the appropriate app to install and get your med alerts set up, only to find you're gonna have to buy another cell or try another alternative for reminding yourself.
There is an easier way though, and it doesn't involve technology.
Don't throw your tech out though, because this alternative works well as a back up for those who are tech savvy, but maybe guilty of ignoring your alerts. You'll know at a glance whether you did, or did not take your meds; giving you an extra layer of safety. The guessing is over.
Unless you're one of those who are too lazy to lift a fork to feed yourself, this product is pretty much fool-proof.
You don't have to pick up another device to program, or go looking for it wherever you last saw it. Not much chance of being distracted while setting this reminder. It's as quick and easy as OPEN-CLOSE-SET your next dose.
No it won't buzz or ring at you, and it won't call out your name. It won't solve world hunger. But if you take a split second to set your next dose, it will end the question..."Did I take my pill today?"
